I had some unused foods in my pantry from an old roommate so I'm gonna try some lentils and quiona in my stick mix this weekend. Lentils are small, almost 30% protein and look like baby snails and Quinoa looks like bird seed, has a good amount of fat and protein and will be good for getting flavors all throughout the water cloumn. I'm soaking them in some flavored oils so I hope they absorb them and add to their appeal.
I'll tell y'all afterwards if they help me bank some fish this weekend.

both work great, they are just not as cost effective as grits or bird seed. I like polenta as well but the price is not worth it compared

I didnt catch a single fish on the stick mix... but... we were fishing in some heavy snags this weekend so I'm pretty sure I was casting right on to snags due to the RIDICULOUS amount of rigs I lost.
Al-in-all it was hot but definitely an experience.

both work great, they are just not as cost effective as grits or bird seed. I like polenta as well but the price is not worth it compared Polenta is just grits for yankees. Or as I've also heard: The only difference, is what restaurants can charge for it. (actually, polenta is ground a little finer than grits, but still, corn is corn).
