I'm going to Joe's to pick up a machine tonight. Y'all be sure to use him if you need a party machine!

Mike, you are going to have more tackle than I do.

Mark, that was a great party. I don't know what went over better, my fried fish or your margs. We will have to do it again soon.

After last trip, I knew I needed something lighter then the setup I was using for jigging.
Plus, Its a good enought excuse to add to the milk crate!

Just funnin whi'cha Mike but yes, I'd say a 9/0 is a bit heavy for jigging.

And as Jim always says ....

"I ain't carrying no stinkin half full milk crate on board ... no suh"

At least I think he said that ... LOL

As always, I try to be a good student.
I took Brian's feedback and bought a Okuma Makaira 15II reel and following Bobby's advice, put it on a Quantum BCC60-325Boca Jig Rod.
Chartbait has a special going on the Okuma's , so its spooled with 60lb braid ( Brian's recommendation), some topshot60-100#, plus they threw in 5 jigs as a bonus.
Man, its lean and light.
