Ran out from Harbor Bay with a dock neighbor buddy around 4. Large birds were working the corner of the 30 Rockwall bridge. Left them biting there to look for some hybrids and found them on a hump out from I-30 on the river channel. Amazing fishing. Several massive schools of big sand bass and large hybrids. This year has been fantastic as far as quality of fish as many have mentioned on the Forum. Sent some pictures out to friends earlier. Happy Fishing.

Hey frank, what have yall been using to catch the hybrids? A week ago we had an awesome evening using banana sassy shad. But my last 4 evenings have been bad. I have found fish but can't buy a bite.

Z-7 fishhunter: Been catching them on Mitchell's long green slabs they sell at Harbor Bay. Mike (Moe) is supposed to be getting a version in of the same slab... As soon as those come in will be switching to those. I've never had a bad day with those slabs. Little trick. Take a permanent marker and put the shad black "spots" on each side towards the top of the lure. Working on my boat today or would be back out there!

I mentioned above I'm shore bound working on my boat but I saw a lot of boats by the 30 bridge earlier. The sandies run in and out of there. If the big birds are sitting on the rocks by the corner of the bridge I guarantee you the fish are there. They may not surface but they are there.... Happy Fishing....

Starter relay switch last week. Then spun my prop! That was scary. Never had that happen before. Was going along about 40 and spun like it was in neutral. Than had my shifter replaced. Was sticking. Comes in waves... I'm good to go now... Text me for sure. Maybe I can sneak out a little bit. Working form home does has it's benefits......

Great! I sent a couple buddies out to that hump I mentioned and they caught a bunch... Glad to hear you all caught them- especially her son... Nothing better than seeing kids catching sand bass.
