If the surf stays clean {go to the surf} it has been on fire.

Keep us informed on the water color. The cameras are difficult to read.
Also, good luck.

Guys the water is clear and I did see about 6 smacks being caught when I walked down the jetty this evening. I have the alarm set for 4:30. I will let you know how I do tomorrow.

The water was clear this morning but the wind picked the waves up making wading a bit of a workout. Still caught 5 trout, two pomps, and a lot of seaweed.

Heading out early in the am for try number 2 this year. Last month I was goose egged. I'm definitely going to hit the surf this time because it really sucks carrying a cooler and fishing gear all the way down the jetty.

It's about knee to waist high right now. Looking at it from my porch right now. It might settle by morning.

The trout are in the surf thick. Throwing mullet colored baits on a 1/4 oz jig head and the fight is on. The waves were a little tough to stand in but fishing is great. Caught a bunch of trout and one smack. Gonna hit it in the morning. Should be able to limit out pretty easy.

Trout were in the first and second guts all day. I stood on the first sandbar and fished both guts and caught fish. One guy was standing in the beach in ankle deep water casting live shrimp to the first gut and catching fish almost as soon as it hit the water. Fishing is good right now.
