If there was $100,000.00 on the line, and I knew there were no obstructions, maybe.

There's an area of my lake no-one else fishes because of this, i've one the majority of my torney on this lake out of there.

trim it and fly, but make sure you know what you are doing and are comfortable with it.

I've gotten stuck more than once and had to get out and push over the years lol.

i'm not worried about the sand on the bottom, it's the hidden stumps and logs you gotta be careful about.

only you can decide if it's worth it to you.

what lake?

Just don't do this ( a little less room for error in a jet, it went from 4 or so " to 2 or so " over night and this is what happens)

Go -up the east fork a ways, the east fork vears to the right and caney creek to the left, if you go far enough peach creek and caney split. I've only made it that far up in a bassboat once. I used to beach my boat almost to the peach/caney split and walk the rest of the way fishing. I caught a spotted bass at the junction on everycast for over two hours there one time in 89 or 90, they were all little though 10-14"

The water gets real clear up caney, it's real pretty but tricky, sand bars everywhere, giant stumps in the water, logs going almost all the way across, but the fishing can be very, very good at times.

got this dude up there last time out.

If I was smart enough to take a pic from fb, i'd show off what we did last winter... 22 ft flats boat in less than 2 in of hard sand... We almost made it too... 200 etec wasn't too happy though!

As for the op, if it is silt, there is no problem. If you KNOW there are NO rocks or stumps, then go for it. If there are, then you might want to spend some time walking it and find them all. Once you find them, then go for it! Its only money. It grows on trees!

We did that kind of thing frequently where I grew up fishing the Mobile River delta. Couldn't idle across areas but could run them. Only downside would be a log not quite buried in the mud. If you can check it out first some other way it can save you a major repair and serious embarrassment.

Let her eat son! Trim it up and hammer down. Just do not let out of it, or you'll be sorry! This is the opinion of a guy who has replaced 3 lower units in a year though, lol!!! rolfmao
