I have heard WD-40 is good for fish attractant because it has natural fish oil in it. Has anybody had anyluck with wd-40 catching bass? I remember reading somewhere that its not good for the environment or the fish that bite lures with wd 40 on it. Bang anise and crawfish.

KickinBass craw and anise work for me. But JJ's magic is good as well for stank and dye.

By far the best scent out there is UniButter. It isn't as popular in Texas as it is on the West Coast. But it is made out of all natural products and Sea Urchin. It stays on the bait very well and fish devour it! It was initially designed with saltwater bass in mind, but there's no question whether or not it works in freshwater! http://www.unigoop.com/order.htm

I have tried the majority out there and here is the truth. They all have caught bass for me. The good part is they do scare them away.
