It's kind of like Shark Week without the commercials and bisected Seals! Unfortunately I have posted this just as Carp Week has come to an end; however all the info is still on US Carp Pro's Facebook Profile as well as the Carp Anglers Group site as well.

GoFish on Facebook has had some excellent articles regarding Carp Week. Much of the material will be more informative to novices, but the comments have been great! For once I have seen more pro-carp responses rather than "Throw em on da bank fur dead." Much of the positive feedback has been due to the interest of Fly Fishermen.

Excellent! I know the Fly Fishermen were interested in carp angling long before the euro-style carp fishing started catching on in America.

You can always count on the fly-guys...or at least...the non-trout fly guys, to figure out what the hardest fighting, hardest to tempt fish are before anyone else.

Cool post, but lets log the happenings of carp fly fishing in Texas for all eternity ....at some point pre-tff thinking circa 2002-2001 a weirdo fly fisherman with long hair started emailing me his name was Dave and he was not intrested in my tactics just as I was totally confused by his he wanted to know what did I really know about carp if anything....it would be years later that I finally tried his way of fishing and he would finally try mine

The rest as they say is history.......
