Well if anyone cares, Lake Graham got a little over 16000 Hybrid this year after not getting any in 09 or 10 account hatchery problems. Glad to see it. I think a bunch of what we had went down to PK to visit Randy last year when water was over the spillway for a month. Would like to have that water back, the lake is little over 3 ft down and dropping fast. It is getting hot out on the water now if you hadn't guessed. Well that is the best report I can offer now.

Dennis I have never fished Lake Graham but I own property in Bunker. We was wiped out by the fires. I have always wondered if Lake Graham was as good as some of the locales said it was. Keep up the reports it's nice to know before I pull the boat that far. Pat

I've gotten some decent whites in the last few years, fishing off a dock on the northeast side of the lake. Most bites and keepers had been well after 10 pm.

Good to hear. My Brother-in-law loves that lake, he usually goes for cats and LMB.
I was going to "ask" if anyone had info on the Hybrid situation there. BIL has caught a few fishing for the catfish.

Good info and thanks. I have fished Graham for over 6 years. Lots of good and healthy hybrids. In fact my largest HYbrid caught has been from Graham 27.5 inches long and just a hair over nine pounds. A good fishery with a ton of lmb, crappie and two lb sandies, especially in the cut.

The lake has lots of cover and structure and a power plant that generates yr round. Shad are thick at the plant and easy to catch. A lot of people tie up to the bouys at the discharge and cast into the"trail race" waters and catch fish of all species. The Blue Cat pop is excellent.

Hey Randy, thanks for rubbing it in he he. The last stocking before this year was in June of 08, so they should be nice size by now. Caught one in the outlet this spring 20 inches weighed 4.5 lbs on my digital, healthiest 20 incher I've ever caught chunky and, I expect full of eggs, Not only good sized but a very strong fish, felt larger than that, until I got him up to see. take care.

Have they been using the power plant? Every time I go to Graham to looks like they aren't generating. Is there a number to call and find out when the plant is running?

Howdy Jim, I use the smoke signals, if there is smoke coming out of the plant they are working, however I have been over there with no smoke showing and the water is running through. Sometimes not at a high rate but very seldom have I seen no water at all being pumped. I don't know who you could call to find out but I will try and find a number and let you know.

Thanks for looking for the number. Have you been doing any good at the discharge, if you could setup a web cam for the rest of us that don't live on the lake we could see the smoke, HAHA. Have a great one. jim

Hey Jim, I can't find anyone willing to give me a number for the plant, However I will continue to ask around and maybe get lucky.
