How is the bank fishin on grapevine for flat heads?

If it walks I can hunt it, if it swims I can catch it.
If I dont, I'm havin a bad day.

The only place you might pick up a flathead on the bank is up in Marshall Creek. It costs a dollar to get in the park and you can fish all night. You just have to be in the park by 8:00pm.The gate is locked but you can leave any time you like.Good luck.

When you get into the park you will go to the boat ramp and turn right and go down that road until it ends.Any of the spots from the end of the road back to the ramp could produce a good cat.The log jams are your best bet.

I should clarify that we weren't fishing for flatheads, but we got skunked nonetheless.

I think the creek is your best bet but the only flathead I have ever caught at grapevine was right by the glass catfish. There are some bluffs between Katie's Woods and Scott's landing that have similar features to the aforementioned point.

only cats i've ever seen roaming around the glass cactus are cougars - they get real active at night when the DJ plays "I've got friends in low places"... grin
