I believe I have a bad lower unit on my spare motorguide. It's the 24 volt digital 84 pound thrust or 82 can't remember. Is there any aftermarket motors out there or can I gave it repaired? I was thinking of taking the project on myself just for fun because quite frankly I don't care if I screw it up. smile smile or hpw about any website that may have instructions on how to replace/repair. What may be easier is if someone had an old trashed out motor except with a good lower unit??? Any help is appreciated.

Also, is there any way I can know for sure if that is it. I'm getting voltage down to the lower unit and continuity through all the other components.

Did you check to see if you are getting ground?
