no, just that he was catching a bunch on a frog.

By law you have to kill them. Was told that it was a FELONY if you did not.

So...I'm trying to picture someone beating the heck out of a fish with teeth flopping around the boat while trying to win $100,000.

There is an actual bounty on the fish. I grew up there and go back several times a year to fish it. The fish must be killed immediately. There is a # to call to report it. Most are caught in the mid river section around Mt Vernon in creeks like Douge and Little Huntington. They were first electro shocked out of Douge which runs through the Ft Belvoir base and are spreading. I've had them completely mangle a Spinnerbait but yet to get one in the boat. My buddy and brother catch one occationally. I believe they get $50 for the bounty. The fines are huge if you are caught returning the fish alive back into the water or transporting live fish to another fishery. I have not seen the FLW episode yet but can determine where they are fishing once I see it.

I was there last year and there is a snakehead bounty, u have to kill them, eithere by cutting the gills out or beating them to death, they can live out of water for days so if u just put them in ur live-wells with no water they will stay alive in there for days. I caught alot of them on frogs, and they destroy them its fun to catch them if you arent fishing a tournament!!!

they are, i travel to thailand for work all the time and we eat them over there all the time!
