Anywhere and everywhere on that lake. Watermelon red platics in any depth. Fish the deep grass when it gets hot in the middle of the day. Troll with split plugs if you want. Don't be afraid to throw a crank bait shallow in the mornings and bounce it off the bottom to stir things up. If you wanna get out of the wind try Cow Creek. Hit all the points. There's fish in there too. Be careful and good luck!

Went today from 6pm to 9pm. I caught around 10 fish going from 12" to 5# all on zara spook baby bass in 4-9' of water. MOst were in the 2-3.5# range. My partner caught a couple on green pumpkin magic 7" senko and motoroil red senko tx rigged. His biggest was around 5.5#. I threw a t-rigged brush hog but had no luck, had problems with the trolling motor so we just drifted for a while in a cove but had fun. I've heard good stuff about watermelon red, watermelon candy, watermelon red magic, and motoroil worms.

If you don't mind, what motor oil red senko are you using? I have only been able to find a 5" GY that doesn't really look motor oil to me. Thanks..

not being a smart butt, but down there I'd fish from 1' of water to 50'. you can catch them in whatever. the best for numbers is to fish the brush 5'-15' with senko styled baits. deadstick them. best of luck find the deep points- crank them, football jigs, and drop shots.

Nope no giants....7 lbs biggest...catching a lot of fish. Frogs, traps, and swimbaits shallow...senkos and 10" worms 10-25 ft....mag flukes on drop shots in 30-65ft...
We trolled some DD22s for stripers and caught quite a few black bass as well.
50-60 fish a day.

The 7" motoroil red senkos my partner was using is made by Lew's custom baits which are made here in Del Rio. Several places carry them. Today went out from 7:30 AM - noon but caught nothing bigger than a 3. There was a small big bass tourney with the biggest being a 5 and change that came off a lunker punker.
