Well thats just about right. I'm at work all day, so by the time I get off and to our Longview academy the selection will be pretty thin. Since they keep everything so well stocked.

The stores around here pretty much suck on rod selection. They have a few falcons but not much else. Too many crayon colored rods on the shelves
What ever happened when they had all the top end manufactures? Now they have middle to low end models

hit up bryant irvin and cherry lane stores in Fort Worth today. I was specifically looking for H20 Express Ethos rods. At the bryant irvin store, they just had two 6'6 MH. At cherry lane, they had 3 or 4 6'6 MH and a couple 7'6 XH. I bought the XH and the 6'8 spinning rod, but the spinning rod didn't ring up for 39.99, so I told them to keep it.
I really wanted the composite cranking rod and the 7' MH. Oh well

I got the last 2 H2o 7'6" Xtra Heavy rods and the last composite crank rod in Mesquite this morning. Wooo Whooo!

Just left the longview store. Not many rods to choose from. They either sold a lot already or didn't have much to start with. No h2o blue rods at all, about 5 vendettas,buccos, and carrot stix each. Plenty of low end castaways and falcons. Just saw another post on the big bites. Thinking about heading back to grab some of those.

They ought to call it the "Roulette Rod Riot". About the same chance they will actually have a decent rod.
It's not much of a sale if you don't have product.I can't ever find the Lowriders still there.

College Station has a handful left.
I grabbed a 6'8" spinning rod and the guy behind me got 2 baitcasting rods. All of them rung up at $39.99.
