Anyone know if Purtis Creek has a fishable amount of Crappie or Bream there never been and would like to take kids any advice thanks.

Yes!!!!! It definately does. Lots of bream and when you can find them crappie too.

Yes a couple of years ago I tore the crappie up. they were all big uns. And I have always been able to catch big bream out there.

not sure now but they had the state record bream caught there, believe it was a hybrid bream but been a long time since ive been there, Crappie are hard to catch there spring is the best time for them there and catfish in the past when they are spwning on the dam rocks shallow.

I usually stop at Big Chief landing on Cedar Creek on the way.
