Fish the deep structure - points, pond dams, road beds, humps, and creek bends. Concentrate on 15'-30' using deep diving cranks, c-rigs, tx-rigs, jigs, swimbaits, or shakey heads. Pretty much whatever you have confidence throwing in those depths. I have put fish in the boat with all of the above out there this time of year. Key in on areas with shad and hold on, there are some giants swimming around in there!

what was the lake record again?...pretty sure it was close to 15 lbs just a couple of years ago ...i used to fish it quite a bit back around 2005-2006 when it had a ton of grass and actually had 4 fish over 8 in the boat during that time between 2 of us ...white spinners over the grass was the ticket ..since the grass died off i havent caught many over 5 lbs but tend to stay away due to all the skiboat/jetski traffic

Caught a couple toads on main lake points and drop offs. There's a good brushpile by the tires just after you leave the state park boat docks. If you head out straight towards lynn creek from the state park th second main point on the left there has produced nice fish. Across from that is a roadbed in a sort of cove that generally produces fish. If you go left and head south out of the state park there are some good points and drop offs on the east side.
