you dont need gps spots just go fishing. Look for points with rock and deep water and put you a mag fluke on and get to work.

RR Most of the little slices of heaven down there are way young or really tied inn to the locals. Last time I was there I seen one walk through stripes in a yellow top and high heels. Wowsers.. There were fisherman dropping bags of ice and chips and whatever else was in there hands. The only problem. A 5 karat diamond ring. Who down there has 5k diamond money?
As far as original post. There is a island on the veleno side of the 83 bridge. If you find nothing else out there just fish that. Then back away from it by 50-100 yards and fish around it again.
Everywhere else u think there should be a fish. Fish it.
Good luck

Be careful I just watched the episode of Border Wars about the couple on jet skis that ventured to the Mexican side to take pictures of an old church that is almost in the water. They were approached by 3 boats with guns and they ran from them with their jet skis. The gunmen opened fire and killed the boyfriend. Sad story. The lake is very deserted these days.

I'm sorry Timber Trout, but the lake is NOT deserted. There are a bunch of people fishing it regularly, on both sides of the international boundry. You watched a documentary on something that happened last October, and now you're an expert on the goings on at Falcon Lake? I don't think so.

Timber was being sarcastic (I hope)about the lake being deserted.

Easy fouzman, it was four years ago and I was kidding. I would still stay away from the Mexican side.

Your right, all the violence around that lake and on that lake happened last year. Nothing has happened this year that I could find on line. Must be safe, have a good time. My bad.
