Haven't been in two weeks. Probably the longest I have gone with out fishing there. Going tomorrow & Sunday.

Its been slow for me the past two weekends, but I've stayed mostly on the Noth side in the coves to stay out of the wind. Three weeks ago I was catching a lot in the shallows but like I said it's tough right now. Not sure what's up with'em. Wed nights tourney had like a 10lb bag to win it so, someone is catching something. Good luck!

if i had the option to either fish the morning or the afternoon at the vine id chose the afternoon this time if year...bite has been decent lately although i havent been since the weekend before last

I have never caught anything in the morning but sandbass and crappie.

jumped in back of my insurance agents boat this morning for a couple hours. first spot was great, a steady bite of high slot and a few overs. My best was this 3-11, but he had 4-5 fish from that size up to 5. Rest of the spots were slow as I didn't catch anything else and he only caught a few dinks. pretty day with little wind.

I was back of boat, but deeper structure and ledges with plastics. I was throwing drop shot and he threw Texas rig. When I saw we were into some decent sized fish I also threw a DD22 and caught a 1-2 pounder, but nothing else on it.

throw a white buzzbait on main lake points on the north shore for the early morning bite.

So made out to grapevine today it was a good day you could see the fishing coming the surface getting the bait was able to catch about 3 decent fish nothing around the slot limit ..... And i had one nice one get away was fishing a top water popper and when i got close the the net she spat it out
