The Family and I are headin out there this weekend and have not been on that lake maybe once or twice. needless to say i have no idea what to expect, so any help would be greatly appreciated. lookin for catfish and crappie

Well when we used to fish there before the golden algea blooms a long time ago we would set a trotline for catfish on the opposite side of the baileys marina or now known crystal cove I think. There are alot of stumps and rocks over there we had many big cats come off our line right there. Use live/cut perch and liver. (our biggest catfish out of that lake was a 50+ pound yellow cat on liver at that spot) Good luck I am not sure about depth around that area for sure but if the lake is up there might be a very shallow flat and then a dropoff to where the stumps are.
