last year about this time, barry stokes caught a good mess of channels spawning on ray bob. is it time, cause i know where and how he was fishing? what would be the best bait for this endeavor?

Getting about pre spawn time. From what I understand the channels spawn when water hits about 80-85 soo ya pre spawn sounds jut about right. Gotta go and get some range cubes and hit the dam next week.

Spawn has been going strong for channesl for over a month..Shad or punch bait in shallow water along grass or rocks will do the trick..
"The wife said shes gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time"! I'm sure gonna miss her...
