What are the hybrids doing at this time of year? I am fairly new and have gotten to fish for them in April when they come up shallower in the afternoon and around dusk. do they do that at this time of year as well? Do I need to be fishing deep water and what should I be throwing at them? Will they hit flutter spoons? Swimbaits? Any advice would be appreciated.

Well I would like to know what they are doing as well. I caught zero the last 3 times out.

If you start in the morning, try shallow, maybe move out as the day progresses. Concentrate on 12' to 17' flats close to deep water.

Live bait, swim baits slow off the bottom, or at the depth of the fish. Rattle traps, spoons, etc.

Will try again at the end of the week.

The last two times I went catfishing at night most of the fish I caught were hybrids useing cut shad. Most were like 2-3 lbs . when I use a float is when the bigger hybrids were caught.

Well I had no luck getting them to hit. Graphed them all over the place, but only caught a few smaller fish. The wind did not help any either.

That narrowed it down.

This last weekend, should've caught them everywhere.:)

No luck on my end either.
