You should post this on the bass board. Don't be intimidated; they love to help. They'll be able to give you some very recent info. Stillhouse Hollow has a reputation for being pretty clear, so it would be flukes and finesse everything for me if I was fishing that lake, and then making adjustments as I went. A little rain will muddy up a clear lake like that quickly. A little wind and/or cloud cover will make the bite a little less tough IMO. The guys on the bass board will be able to steer you in the right direction.

And watermelon red anything. Flukes, brush-hogs, mag II worms, and swim baits. I love the watermelon red fluke Texas rigged with a 5ot hook. Crawfish spray in the pouch and glow garlic on the tail. Mimicks a perch. No weight unless your in heavy wind. The weight of the gamakatsu EWG hook gives it the best weight for a swim to the bottom . Cast and let it sit for 15-20 seconds then reel extremely slow. I catch 80 percent of my bass on the downfall when my lure is first starting to sink. Good luck!

My school of shad lure. 12 lucky craft crank baits tied on with braid. Problem is I hook everything that gets in the path.

Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state. But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Dont know why but it works Or, try a lavender badonk-a-donk with a red, green & black bead in front. But, the beads have to be in that exact order! It's best with a 30 lb. flouro leader that is exactly 4'3" long. And, don't even think about working it in any less than 25' of water. Ain't it funny how all the secrets come out on this forum!

and thanks for the welcome Just keep your binoculars hidden and don't get in the brothers' spot(s).... LOL! Just a jab at that 'Hole-jumpin' thread... It still makes me crack a smile when I think about it... Boyjustice about killed me when he started talking about "Hole Owners"... Made me think about some women I've known in the past... hahahaha... They were GREAT hole owners ;-)

Try a C-rig watermelon red or just watermelon seed by zoom, any bait and stay on the outside edge of the grass on the main lake flat.
