I had a guy tell me not long ago that now there is software on some of the better sonar units that will allow you to map the lake. Can anyone give me more information?

Thanks guys. I am considering using a program to map my favorite lake in Mexico, El Salto. There are no decent maps of that lake at all. The contour lines are 20 meters apart, essentially making them worthless.
