I have a 95 Yamaha pro v 200 on a blazer 202 I am running it with a 12 in manual jackplate and yamaha 25m 3 blade. I am needing to get the prop redone. So I have been thinking about ordering a 4 blade for a spare and was looking for some suggestions. I have had the boat to 73 gps before the prop got messed up. Now I am topping out around 63. Am I going to loose a lot on the top end with a 4 blade? I would be fine with going high 60's if it had a better launch. What would be a good choice brand and pitch. Any help would be great.

Either a Trophy plus or a Turbo TXP ot4. I think the speed would only be a mph or 2 slower. Maybe one of the experts on props will chime in and give you some better info.

Ditto sending to Steve, he'll get that M tuned up better than *any* out of the box prop. You'll be miles and dollars ahead.

ask him about the fury on your boat too, sounds like it may do what you want but with 3 blades

those high performace boats can actually run faster with a 4 blade txp than a 3 blade because they are driveable.

hey strokinrun.... YES...the txp's are very good props. especially for the price. (my bullet ran 92.4 with a 29p)
besides the ET4 that i have, the txp is about as good as it gets.
i'm still working on a new prop..the SL4 which is similar to a hydromotive x o/b. it's been a very good holeshotting prop for summer fishng loads..just working on the speed now.

Interesting...may have to try one of those...looking for a better holeshot...that 30p Hydromotive..will lug a little out of the hole...around 4500 rpms..then it breaks over..but the top end is still in the mid 90's, with a full load....carries a load very well....but willing to sacrifice some top end for a good summer prop

I can't imagine how bad it would feel to hit a stump at 90mph in a bass boat-ow...
