Me and my dad took a trip out to Ivie last week. We had a good time. Caught two 6.5 pounders one 8 and a 9.5. A few 3 pounders and alotaround 1 to 2 pounds. It was pretty windy and hot but we had a blast. Cant wait to go again but we might have to wait till gas prices go down, IF it ever does.

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

Congrats. Good looking fish. Always makes fishing better when you're with your Dad doesn't it?

Ivie is tree mendus right now... Fished last couple of weeks there and had a great time.... Some of the largest bass ever... Broke off several over 10 lbs the the trees... They seem to know how to go over & under & thru the trees just right to get away... Gotta love fishin'... My grandson "11" caught a 3+ saturday.... Worth fighting the wind...

Maverick... Look for wood & rocks from main lake to half way up colorado and concho... The fish are there ... Top waters early... swim baits a little later and plastics after the sun is high... good luck...
