Turn on the prop and it should take you straight to it, you should have a distance to go displayed and it should decrease as you get closer

Hey all, I have a Helix 7 Gen 3 with Mega SI. When I set the SI range to Auto, it does not change regardless of depth or distance to the shore. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help!

So the amp draw on the helix 15 is 4 and the 12 is 1.75? Or did I get
bad info.
Trying to find a reason to get a 15. I could get 2 12s and use less amps
with better quality picture?

They have just released a new update this morning. Software Update - v. 2.660. It looks like it is ready for the MEGA Image device. I have updated my unit successfully.

Guys I have a quick question. I have a new Ultrex 80 mega DI I pilot link. I have it all hooked it to my new Hummingbird Helix 8 mega DI Gen4. I bought the needed adapter for the transducer and I have the Ethernet cable plugged in as well. I can operate the trolling motor via the Helix, it’s awesome. Can you tell me which transducer I’m supposed to select when operating this setup? The one that popped up factory when I first put it on the boat and tried it had very poor images on the DI setting. I switched to another option on the transducer select on the graph and it got better but nothing like I see pictures of on other guys graphs. Mine are kinda grainy. I just want to know which setting i need to be on. I’ve looked but I can’t find the setup. Thanks In advance.

I have another dumb question.

When I pull up the 360 to move I get a notification on the unit
at console. One either says 360 lost? Yes or no? Or it says
retract 360? Yes or no. It also causes the unit to switch views at console.
If I have it on SI it could go to 2d without me hitting any buttons.

The MEGA 360 has a wet switch that turns it off when it is not submerged so you should get some notification it is off/lost and would only do that if your console unit has it selected to be a source in the Network menu.
The Yes or No is asking if you want to turn it OFF.

The Retract 360 concerns the original 360 transom mount version and should not be a message IF you have current software.

If you have any map cards in it, try removing them before powering up, if that doesn't work then most likely it's time to upgrade

Finally watched a video after taking my mega live out on how to clear interference and feel silly. My brain said sensitivity high and contract low would clear it but uts the opposite. Now looks great

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!
