Kristi and I set out earlyish to avoid some of the heat. Fishing a local, to us, HOA lake.
We had 8 carp in the first 2.5 hours - couple of mid singles and the rest between 11 & 15. Of note, and not counted in the totals was the 8lber netted at the same time as a 14lber. The 8 was not on any lines just trying to spawn with the 14 while we were landing it.
No bigger fish yet but we are hoping for later in the day asthe morning bite has slowed for the moment.
More updates later.

Well we caught five more between 12 and 14.5 lb before some miserable so and so called the police because we were fishing "his" lake. Whoever it was did not even have the balls to say anything to us. Shame since we were having a Red Letter day and were not interfering with anyone. Everyone who spoke to us was nice and pleasant as well as interested that we were catching Carp and releasing them. I guess we will go somewhere different tomorrow.

Oh to too things off when we got home we discovered someone had broken into one of our customers storage units. Spent nearly two hours sorting allthat out with the police.

I had the kicking out of a lake thing happen to me a few years ago. It was a HOA lake that caught me some big grass carp and a few small commons. Damn cops came and ran us off
