Yeah I got me a special cd to put in to crank up when cry babies drive up and cuss me out as a hole jumper. Just play that banjo music cd and ask em if they can squeal like a pig. They usually stop cussn and leave. But if they dont.......I'm outa there!!!

Or, heres another good one, put in the sounds of Orca CD and play really loud. Then every thing leaves the hole. LOL

Yeras back early 70's I was just being taught how to bass fish.
I was with a guy that had been fishing a few years.
We pulled in about 40 yards behind a boat that was trolling Roy told me never go get in front of someone ,if they stop then ask them if you may fish around or through if they say no pull your troll motor up and move way off from them always have respect.He said the same applies to a spot ask the person if they mind if you fish the area with them
A few month latter I saw why, a guy was trolling and another boat came flying up in front of him and dropped his troll motor
The other guy never said a word just reeled in put his troll motor in high gear pulled up along side the guy and smacked him
with a boat oar knocking the guy out.He laid the boat oar down and continued back fishing

From now on out, anyone thinking about jumping a hole, just offer the guy who owns this hole to ride with you and jump it...LoL

I have a question...I am new to the area and need some clarification on the whole hole jumping thing...how long do I have to wait after a fish is caught by somebody else in a lake before I can fish it and not be a d-bag hole jumper?

I just want to make sure I don't catch anyone elses fish.

From what I have been hearing..... NEVER FISH THERE...... If you see someone that has caught fish in a certain geographical location... forget you ever saw that spot and continue on. LOL...Just kiddin. I'm a cop so I don't worry about gettin hit with oars....I worry about the guy that shoots at my boat. lol

Reading all I have read about hole jumping you can be assured I won't be hole jumping.

What happens when all the holes are taken and someone new to the lake comes along and needs fishing spot?

Should he just load up and sell his boat?

He should beg and plead for a small token of generousity from a "hole owner" and with any luck be "granted" permission to fish a spot for a very "limited" period of time for which they will give "offering" of their first fish to the "hole owner" as a "fee" for the hole owners contribution to the new fisherman as there are currently NO VACANCYS on Texas lakes so the new fisherman should just go from Lake to Lake in search of a peaceful "hole owner". HA !
