I'm leaving my tackle.If I'd lose about 40lbs I'd probably gain 3-4mph.

Well...I am not sure how it works with a boat and the parasitic drag from the friction of the water but in drag racing cars you gain a tenth of a second for every 100 lbs. removed. Not sure what that results to in mph.

I spent a weekend working on boat and tackle. I made a list of everything i had. Put the baits in two gallon plastic bags and marked what was on them. Made shelves in the back of a closet. Its been four years now and instead of spending 2+ a year on tackle i didn't need and already had i am down to around 300 a year. and a lighter boat and tackle box

i thought ,may be a tailwind.because of all this wind. Thats what i was going to guess. i just got back from Hubbard creek and was going 40 on gps with motor shut off. Played heck going back north to the ramp.
