Very good..sometimes better than in the open water..ive been getting most of my fish in less than 10 feet of water right up on the banks.

They used to catch them right out off the end of the peninsula coming from Pottsboro. I know several people that would go out there and catch nice ones off the bank on topwater. Dad and I routinely catch them from one spot (not telling) off an island where the water stays about 2-5 ft. until there's a 10ft. drop-off. The stripers push the shad up into the shallows just inside the drop-off and we catch them there on top right after the sun hits the horizon in the evening. We catch smaller ones in the shallow water and bigger ones just into the deeper water.

Texas between HP and Mills Creek. Think'n past Mills to the camp area or the between the islands. Should be out there tomoro. Did nab a dinker the other night tho. A lot of the guides are in the area, so they are out there? GL

Well only caught six stripers that were 15-17 inches and 3 yellow cats.
