Gamagasu(sp) makes a hook that has a black nylon weed guard that works great for wacky rig. Not sure what it is called on the package.

Gamakatsu Weedless Finesse Hook Gamakatsu now makes a hook specifically for wacky rigging. I've tried it and I think the above version is better, though.

Rubberbands are cheaper!
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Mustad has one with a 1/32 weight on the hook and a wire weed guard. It is the best one I have found. The plus is I have never had a fish jump off them. Those little gama's are hard to keep a big fish on.
Retirement best job ever.

Just get the Kicker Fish Weedless Wacky worms! Can't tell you how many fish I have caught on those over the years and with a 1/0 or 2/0 hook you just rig it like any normal worm! Works great for me.

How do you rig it weedless with a rubberband? Get a small rubber band, the ones that kids get for their braces works great. Slip it through the part of the eyelet that doesn't touch the hook, then pull it tight and attach it to the barb.

I started using Pay Dirts Custom weedless wackys http://www.paydirtcustomjigs.com/ Go ckeck them out the hook is strong. You can use in heavy cover without the worry of a lost fish. I have pulled some fish out of nasty cover and have not had any problems with them.
