Fished solo from 330-630, boated 64 sand bass, lots of hogs....no hybrids. Found them on top of humps 15-16 as well as 20-24ft. Left them biting.

All on Moe slabs chartreuse-damn hooks are terrible-switched to eagle claw treble and wouldn't even bend them.

All fish caught Clear Creek-out of wind

Any schooling yesterday down South or Key Ranch?

I went Wednesday evening and we caught quite a few over by Merimac. Then I got to see a first...right after the sun went down we saw fish schooling so we start thowing in them with some crankbaits...didnt get a singel bite. We were the only ones in the area so we trolled right into the middle of them. Had fish all around the boat and when we got to looking they were all catfish...never seen catfish school on top like that. It was amazing.

The hooks on them slabs are ok for lead chunkers but don't try trolling with them. The big fish will unwind them every time.

Take a fish boating today!

TNT hooks tend to hold up better- went thru 3 slabs yesterday before I decided to put new treble on.

No, I was not trolling-I keep a loose drag while slabbing- so when they hit bait on drop or off bottom I can sock it to them hard.

I Always break the original hooks.

I rented a gas powered pump with a 'wand' to clear out the bottom of my boat dock this morning. Then unloaded my boat at Don's Port and fought the wind getting back to the Marimac area.
Son and I are going to hit the humps early in the morning and see if anything is hungry after all the boats and sea doos all day today. Then get serious after all the weekenders go home tomorrow afternoon! Any idea where to head first?
