Anyone know if there are rules or laws in regaurds to putting a name on a boat? I want to name my boat but am unsure of the laws/rules for doing that. Any advice or information appreciated.

I always though bass boats should be named after super models. My wife does not believe in this naming covention though.

There is no law regarding this issue, on a bass boat, there might be on larger vessels. I assume your gonna put the name on the boat... just do it.

I name everything: My trucks my boats my lawnmowers. I usually don't put the names on them, but I see no reason why you can't. Make it a female's name that has meaning though. It has to be a girl, unless you are a girl.
