Spent a few days at my lakehouse this week and the carp were everywhere! I have no idea how many I caught but I do know it was a blast! Most of my fish were caught sight fishing with bread until Angler Josh came down and showed me some fun new stuff! Also a couple first for me!

Most of the carp were babies but I did manage this 19 lber and again it was on 4lb test along with all the others I caught.


Also not only did I manage to get my first buff on rod and reel but also one on the fly!



And the one I caught on my spinning gear and yes 4lb test lol

Weds mornin while I was casing for bass I stumbled up on this dude and had nothing to even try to catch him with so I just took a pic and sent it to josh.



After that my goal was to catch that dude! And a little before dark we were watching some buffs feed toward josh's line when his line tightened up and went down the drop off. We thought he had a buff for a sec until we saw the orange and thought it was just another small carp like all the others until it sufaced and we saw that it was the mirror I had seen earlier!Awesome fish!



I also caught my first carp on the fly a little before dark

And I cant forget one eyed jack!
