Everyone, Paul Sonnier has graciously put together a memorial fund to go to Bill's wife, Lana. I am posting it here because so many of your lives have been touched by Bill and Lana.

From Paul:

"Bill Dee Memorial Fund,,,,,,,,,,,,,

In lieu of Flowers, I am asking that anything that would have been spent, to be donated to the "Bill Dee Memorial Fund"... To help Lana.

I am asking for donations to be sent via Paypal, and the funds will be sent to her, to help with any expenses she will be incurring, to use as she needs. I think this would be better suited and most helpful to Lana, rather than a house full of flowers.

Lana will receive a check for the Full amount collected, along with a list of Donors.

Me heart aches, and my prayer go out to Lana, and the entire Dee Family...

PayPal address is "PaulSonnier@hotmail.com" Please include "Bill Dee Fund" in the Comments, and add "GIFT" in the PayPal Comments field to waive the Transaction Fees."

Also, Justin with Rayjus is helping out as well. Here's a link if you would like to purchase an S.O.B. jersey in memory of Bill, with all the profit going to the Memorial Fund.

Thank you to all of you for the friendship you shared with my father. It always surprised me how many people he touched. I remember when he told me he was going to start an online web-based lure company. I said, let me know how that goes. WHO KNEW???
Thank you for your prayers and support for Lana.

Your father was definitely one of a kind. Whenever he would call my cell phone, I would have to go find my charger, as I knew my cell phone would go dead before we were through talking. smile smile smile He would for sure call every Friday, even if we just got through talking for 3 hours the day before. smile I missed hearing his raspy voice this past Friday. I sure will miss my old friend. Prayers sent to your family.

TFF made a $250 contribution. It was from the PayPal account that y'all pay to when you buy t-shirts and such.

Thank you VERY MUCH JP, as well as EVERYONE Else....

The response has been very overwhelming. I never expected the amount of Donators, nor Donations...

I know Lana will be shocked, and very appreciative...

We were in Michigan, but just as soon as we got back to Texas last night, we sent some money. When Bill passed, the news spread like wild fire and everybody pretty well very surprised and shocked at the news.
Bill touched so many lives, he was crusty feller with a voice nobody could ever forget. and anybody that knew Bill has a story about him, he touched everybody lives who got near his presence. A good guy who will be missed, but I know this year at the rally in Del Rio, the stories will fly. Will seem strange without him with us, but we all know he smiling at us and will be with us in spirit. Thanks to Paul Sonnier for being such a good guy.
