My customers and I have been catching some great numbers of quality fish lately. Here are a few pictures from this past week. Lake Fork is producing lots of 30-40 lb stringers right now. You need to get to Lake Fork soon folks...its ridiculous!

Back to back beasts for Norm Miller from Interstate Batteries (Best five went 37 lbs)

Scott Miller from Interstate and myself with a couple of toads (Best five went 35 lbs)

Steve, Chad, and I had one over 24" and two 23" fish this day to anchor a 41 lb bag...

This brings up a good debate. I know you are going to catch bigger fish during the spawn and it seems to be everyones favorite time of year. But, all the photos i have seen of fork and falcon, and from my own experience last year on amistad, it seems like this is the best time of year to catch numbers and good size.

Definitely Coach! You can catch a real monster in the spring but for numbers of good quality bass with a few big ones mixed in, now thru July and October/November are my favorite. Great times to bring the wife and kids to the lake too!

Very nice fish.

James,

I saw you, I think it was last Saturday morning with 3 guys in your boat fishing outside my cove. You were trolling thru the stumps and then instantly your boat came to a screaching halt and the poor guy in the middle of the boat came flying up on deck with you and one of the other guys. It was hard not to laugh but he bounced right up so I knew he was o.k. Poor guy never knew what hit him. Anyway, I think most everyone has taken the leep of shame at some point out on the lake. Good luck to you and keep on catching the big ones.

I've been tryin' to tell people for nearly 20 years to come to Fork May - July. They come in early spring when the weather is poor up here then compare Fork to the southern lakes that are months ahead of us. Oh well at least during the week I'll have most of the lake to myself smile

Yes. That was us...LOL Tom was the one that fell. He doesn't have very good sea legs. Norm said he looked like a turtle on his back when he fell on the deck! We all laughed including Tom. Good times. Thanks and take care!
