The Athens Bass Club holds an open big fish tournament every tuesday night from 5-10 on Lake Athens. Sign ups start at 5pm sharp, you must be weighed in by 10pm.
Details.... Only 12 bucks per person to enter, bring your biggest fish to the scale (must be over 21 inches), and you could win a couple hundred bucks...
2 dollars of your entry fee goes into the championship pot for the end of the year.
We have been having between 25 and 40 entries. Lately, we have had between 5 and 10 fish weighed every tuesday night.

nice little lake you guys have out there! fished it sat for my first time and had a blast. several slot fish, and one around 7.5# (23.5").

Last night it took 7.10lb to win the pot of 224 bucks. Check us out at www.athensbassclub.comOnly 3 Tuesday Night Tournaments left to qualify for the championship. The championship pot will be well over 2 grand for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. PM me for more details.

This is a awesome deal all you have to do is catch an over and you qualify for the championshp. I caught my over back in april and I'm excited about fishing the championship!
