Just got back from 4 day fishing trip in at a fly-in fishing camp North of Vancouver. If you have never done it I would recommend it. Fishing days are long- Start at 5AM and finish at 8PM but we caught Sockeye, Coho, Pinks and Kings. I would say the action is slow-Couple of hours of trolling and bam 1/2 hour of fishing like crazy but the landscape is amazing so the time goes by fast.Saw Humpback whales, Killer whales, seals, Dolphin, Bald Eagles Biggest fish I caught was a 22lb King and a 15 LB King. I also caught a 30LB Halibut. I have 70 Lbs of fish that I brought back so my coworkers and neighbors will love me. The place I went is called Coastal Springs Float Lodge that only holds groups of 8 or under.
Temp was 50-60 degrees too most of the time so it was nice to get out of the heat for a while.
You fly in to Vancouver and take a float plane 1 hour North.
