Hey all,
I'm new to the site, but definitely not new to catfishing. I'm stationed here at Fort Hood and live in Georgetown. Any good advice on chasing big cats at Granger this weekend? I have access to gills for cut bait. I would like to target blues and flatties from the bank.
I got gas money if anyone has an extra seat on a boat, or would gladly tag along if anyone needs some good company from the bank! Thanks in advance.
I'll post some pics of my adventures on the James River (60lbs + blues!!) as soon as I get a chance at home. Thanks guys.
Nick

There are some nice ones out there. Try posting at www.grangergang.com. That is the lake locals site and they could help you out more. There was a 88lb yella taken lately.

Might be going fishing on granger if you would like to join me. A friend and I are planning on using kayaks to find a good spot in the taylor park. Just pm me if you're interested in joining us.
