Looking for some opinions/reviews on Dobyns savvy rods. Dont know anyone that has them and considering trying them out. Any info would be helpful, would be the MH or H, 7 foot range.
Thanks

I have a Savvy 734C (Hvy Fast Action)I use for spinner baits, Light Texas Rigs up to 1/2 oz "for me" and now some swimbaits and its working awesome
I also have a 735C (Med/Hvy X-Fast Action) that im using for frogs and heavier Texas rigs and Jigs 1/4 oz to 1 oz, been playing around with swimbaits on it also
Both are truely awesome rods and for the price, you can't beat it
If you was close to Paris, id let you try em out, if your close to Ray Hubbard, Skeeter Ronnie has a ton of them and would for sure let you whack a few bass with his i bet

the 734 and 735 are excellent introductory rods! I use a lot of the Savvy Series and find them to be exceptional rods for the price point! I have been nothing short of pleased with mine!
I see you are in midlothian... shawn at the tacklesmith can fix you up and he's in mansfield.

Savvy's are awesome. Tons of backbone and sensitivity. Quality components. I have had the 734 and I have a 735 that is a $$ frog and flip rod. I am about to pick up a 733 to replace my old falcon original 7ft. MH that I've been using for 10 years. I will be using Dobyns until they give me a reason not to.

I believe I used him once for a reel cleaning, have to look in my phone and see.
I currently have a couple of older team daiwa's that I like then shimano clarus, falcon lowrider and some bps rods. Like the falcon and was considering dobyns or crucial. Dobyns is sounding like my next purchase.
Thanks everyone.

Alot of us are not pro's or have more money than common sense. The Dobyns Savvy series is made for that person.I first bought the 733c and was so impressed with it that I am now slowly replacing my other rods for Dobyns.
