I'll be going to Port A begining of July and would like to take my kids crab fishing. I have no knowledge of crab fishing and any pointers wouuld be great. Also locations of good crab fishing spots would be appreciated.

I took my two boys last year and they had a blast catching crabs! The best thing to do is if you have a boat, go to the Lydia Ann Channel. Anchor your boat over on the island side. It's a narrow grass flat that runs out to a drop off in the channel. Go out there on an outgoing tide. The crabs seem to come in shallow up on the grass when the current is ripping in the channel. My boys just had a landing net with a 7' handle and a bucket. Just wade around in the grass you can find all the crabs you want.
