After the H&H we would save our money up to buy a Terminator! How many times did your swim out to retrieve your favorite lure because you did not have a boat and you did not want to loose it.lol

Purple creme worms and a H&H. Pake is going to answer this post in 10 years with something like LC 1.5 or rago bv3d...lol times are a changin. side question...how many of us are seeing the responses and realizing that old clip top tacklebox in the attic is full of productive baits..betcha fork fish aint seen a jitterbug or hula popper in a while...just make sure to change those hooks out to some KVD triple grips lol.

Not sure but it was probaly one of the following: Plastic frog in bull-frog color from early 60's. Creme worm Bomber bushwacker spinner bait Houla Popper Jitter Bug Smithwick devils horse Shiester

Rooster tail was all you needed +1 for pond fishing. First bass in a lake was a blue eyed pearl chugger. I am getting old.....

When I was real young, 3 or 4, my dad would put a weight on with a bobber. No hook or bait, he said I would sit for hours watching that bobber, waiting for a bite.
I wonder whats wrong with me.

J-13 Rapala on Lake Tyler East first bass was 5lb. in 1967. 7:30 p.m. Sometime in June on a Friday on a Zebco 404. Which ever model had 3 sets of treble hooks. Remember it like it was yesterday. Been hooked ever since! Even had to have that same model cut out of my shoulder after my younger brother hooked me with one, all 3 treble hooks. Ouch.

pico perch, or a shyster. the rapala's were too pricy for a 4 year old and his zebco 33.
