my wife wanted to participate in the redear competition so I took her to dunlap for some potential redear action...fortunatley,our first redear spot produced! my wife ended up catching a half dozen redear all between 9.5" and 10.5".i ended up catching a 14" lmb, redbreast and a bg on "gulp minnow".all fish were caught on slipcork & worm or "gulp" at 3'...the redear were caught near the bank (on worms only)within a 5' radius.if you didn't get the bait in that particular strike zone, they wouldn't bite...the catch of the whole story is, after looking at the redear pics this morning, I noticed that i used the "HOT" password instead of the"SUN" password.OOPS!another bad thing , i haven't told my wife yet, because she's still excited about potentially being in the running to place in the top 3......oh well, i guess i'll break it down to her later on today....hopefully i'll take her back again, but with the right password.."HOT"..oops,i mean "SUN"....good luck gang!

That 10.50" would have tied her for first place To bad about the wrong contest word. Take her back there and get an 11 inch Those were some super nice fish Ed Good job with the exception of using the wrong contest word.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt, but it gives you a good excuse to get back out on the water with her - which is a good thing!
Everyone has to believe in something - I believe I'll go fishing!

Nice job getting her on some some good fish Ed!! We all make mistakes. If your wife is anything like my wife, you'll never live it down. Even if you get her on a larger redear and she wins the contest!

If your wife is anything like my wife, you'll never live it down. Even if you get her on a larger redear and she wins the contest! You KNOW that is the honest to god truth right there buddy. And any chance she gets to rub it in will result in sharp jabs to the old ego. Nice job man, I bet that(wrong code) won't ever happen again.
