Not looking for spots just info. I've never been on Lavon. My father is coming in town for the weekend. I have a black bass tournament there next week so I want to go look around but would like to put my dad on some sandies. We will put in a Lavonia. How muddy will the lake get after the last couple of days of rain? And have the sandies been schooling at the surface at all?

You might want to PM TarponFly....or see if he responds to this post. He is the guru on Lake Lavon.
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

right now, any wind blown bank is pretty good. Was out there yesterday, and they were biting. Points are really good too.

Yep, just get out on the end of the peninsula about 30 yds out and cast towards the point. Easy limit right there almost any day I go. Best lure I found for lavon sandies are moe's fast alleys or sss slabs. Also bomber crankbaits work real well bounce them on the sandy bottom.
