Just bought a jon boat with a 1986 15 hp johnson outboard. Anyone know of any mechanics in Abilene or have any advice? The rope to start it barely pulls, feels like the motor is not even trying to start. Pulled the carb off and clean but didn't help. Any advice.

Thanks!

Get in touch with Terry Rose in Eastland also. He's very experienced in motors. Outdoor Specialties 254-629-8877

Nobody but Mike Sitts at Sandy Creek Marina will put a wrench on my motor.

Mike Sitts is the absolute best boat motor mechanic in Texas, without a doubt. But, he's as busy as a one armed paper hanger. smile
