I heard it was lifted on Mountain Creek for non-bottom feeders too.

I still wouldn't eat anything out of Mountain Creek under any circumstances.

Same here, but TPWD website changed from ban to advisory.

http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/annual/fish/consumption_bans/

But when you read the new change, it says "Persons should not consume any species of fish from these waters", so it still sounds like a ban to me.

Fish out of that lake have to be bad if they tasted like oil back in the 1950's or 1960's which is what my parents told me about the crappie and bluegills they caught. You have to consider the source of where the water comes from and in this case it sits right next to a base and so does Lake Worth. When it rains and the water runs off from the areas surrounding a lake or from it's tributaries you are going to be inundated with unwanted waste like fuel, chemicals, fertilizers, etc...
Is it worth taking a chance to eat those fish?

Be careful over there with your tow vehicle. I have heard some stories about trailers damaged and trucks being vandalized and broken into.

Put the plug in.

There is a ramp just south of the water output canal on the east side of the lake.
