Anybody ahve any links on some bracket designs they could send me? I have seen them before but cant find any now.

I found it. THe best one looks like the one where you actually go through the hull with the wire and then epoxy the top of the transducer to the bottom of the boat. Has anyone done this persoanlly?

That takes a different transducer for that installation. If your unit is new, I believe Humminbird will swap the transom mounted for the shoot-thru.

John175 had his mounted on the recessed step on his ranger. Don't remember how I just remember the pics. Maybe he can help you?
