Hello, three of us will be heading down from Fort Bliss on Thursday to fish for three days. I did well in March on TX rigged big plastic. Any info would be appreciated.

Do the same. Check with Falcon Lake Tackle when you get in town.

Was there this past week with Jersey Dan and Baylorbassguy. We absolutely smoked them. 2 1/2 days of fishing and over 200 fish. 3 went 8+, several 5's, 6's and a couple of 7's. Started off with big plastics but, wound up catching majority of bigger fish on DD22's. Look for deep water close to shallow. Islands and deep water points were the most productive. Enjoy!

Got back from Falcon last Sunday and the fishing was fabulous. Most of our fish were caught in 10 to 20 feet, but we killed em on one 6 foot point early and they were busting shad near shore late. Points and brush were main targets; used mag flukes, brush hogs and jigs. Wish I could go back soon.

Hey friend, I know you like to fish Mexico, but don't rule out Tirge. It is hot right now. I've been tearing them up on rocky points with the regular salty flukes in watermelon red. I've had to stop fishing when the big ones were still bitting several times. The wife and I'll be there Tuesday. Look us up if you happen to be in the Tirge area. We'll be putting in at the Tigre ramp. This may be our last trip this year as we're headed to New Mexico at the end of the month.

Well we got back last night after three of the windiest days of fishing I have ever had. It really limited the areas we could fish and most of the fish we caught came off a 200-yard stretch of bank. We fished in the trees in 14-18 feet of water. I really think the fish were coming from deeper water to eat so I would have really liked to fish from the depth they were coming from but the wind would not allow much of that. I would tie off to a tree and just fan cast the big fluke in the trees. When they were there, they would eat. Several doubles and back to back fish catching for 15 to 20 minutes then done for an hour or so. I was pretty confused on day way because the water was about 15 feet lower than my last trip so we managed 20 fish day one, 30 day two, and 35 day three with the biggest only being 7.10. Not great numbers or size for Falcon but none the less a good time. Most of the fish came on the mag fluke but Eric changed to the normal size fluke in the same color on day three and quickly started running the numbers up as well as catching the big fish. Thanks for all your help it was my last trip. School is finished now its back to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. I will be in the Table Rock, Lake of the Ozarks, Truman area so if you find yourself in the area shoot me a message maybe I can help.
