went out today on the lake. It was a pretty rough day due to i ran out of gas dallas police said they cant tow you in either which is lame. but anyway after my gas issue it got better. i fished over by terry park and ended up catching 41 white bass they were surfacing. Used a white spinner bait and just killed them. sometimes it pays to have bad luck

Funny they cant tow you. I think the DPD boat needed a tow a couple weeks ago out on Hubbard.

Speaking of Ray Hubbard........anyone know what happend out there today? I was out there for a few hours this morning and there were countless abulances, fire trucks, and cop cars on the I-30 East bridge. Then I saw the Fire Rescue boat head that way with lights on and then shortly after that saw the DPD boat head over there too.

If you were in distress because you were out of gas it should have been illegal for them not to come to the lake and tow you in. They failed to give aid to a stranded boat wich is against the law. Dallas PD has boats there and are supposed to tow you in if you call and are in a distressed state. I've had a few friends call for a tow they came and towed them. If it was me I would be calling and reporting your incident to TPWD because that is messed up!

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

well in the end im glad they didn't. I would have not fished terry park if they towed me . But thanks to some good fellas I got towed to terry park and got a buddy to bring me some gas. After that it was game on when my buddy spotted the fish jumping. However, I was pretty shocked at the fact that he said, "we are not allowed to tow due to the dmg it does on our motor, and how much it cost to fix." I called bs and wanted to say something but I am respectful. Just know that if you ever get stranded on Hubbard never call DPD cause they wont help.

It sounds like if they are ever in need of a tow and I'm around they had better get there paddles out cause my motor cost to much to fix if it gets damaged by the extra load....
