That figures to be a 132 lb. fish caught off Panama recently

Tred Barta's article in the June 2011 issue of Sport Fishing magazine. They weren't trying for any record and forgot where they were at when the fish was weighed at the dock and they were told the weight was 60. They were thinking "pounds" and had forgotten that Panama is on the metric system.

They ate it. The fish would have beat the 35-year old world record of about 82-85 pounds. I mean just looking at the fish you gotta think the picture weighs 75-lbs......

It was caught sometime last year by Dennis Braid I believe.. That's him in the picture. Regardless, that's the biggest damn dorado I've ever seen in my life!

I read that story and my first thought was "that's metric man!"

There is no way that fish is 60 pounds. That's a monster.

I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.
