 Where to live around Galveston

I am going to buy a place around Galveston to weekend and vacation and possibly live eventually. I would like near good fishing areas. Would the Sea Isle area on the west end of the island be a good choice? I have a 24' boat.

Dick,
I was noticing this past weekend that there are some nice homes right at San Luis Pass. They are on the Surfside side of the pass and I think that they would be worth looking at.
I have a friend that owns a place in Pirates Cove but, that is mid island and you would probably need to trailer you boat to Galveston or SLP if you wanted to go offshore.
Sea Isle isn't a bad place either, just make sure you look at the ones at SLP before you make a decision.
